Brian studied Law at the University of Durham and completed his LPC at the Oxford Institute of Legal practice. Having worked in Private Practice in the fields of Employment Law and Insolvency Litigation, Brian joined First Counsel in June 2007.

Brian has nearly 4 years’ experience in the Legal recruitment market, including 3 at First Counsel, and recruits lawyers of all levels into Private Practice roles both in London and the Middle East. Brian has a very varied background, having placed lawyers into top tier UK and US firms as well as smaller, West End and Niche firms in London prior to spending a year in the Gulf. In respect of his Middle East experience, Brian has an in depth knowledge of that market having met clients on the ground in every one of the Gulf States, including Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
