Career consultancy & outplacement support

Recruitment is so much more than just putting people into jobs. With the combination of our recruitment experience coupled with our in-depth market knowledge we are well placed to provide a much greater value added service.

We have always provided advice on an informal basis but with the recent changing market conditions we now have a more formal service which we can offer to both candidates and clients.

Candidates often ask us to provide advice and training as they deal with redundancy, face the prospect of redundancy and/or reach a crossroads in their career. We also assist with interview preparation, relationship building and tips on how to get the most out of your CV.

Clients often ask us to provide a more formal advisory service - either in a workshop setting, a 'drop-in' advice centre or one to one sessions - to employees facing difficult or uncertain times.

In addition to this we have also been asked by professional bodies to present to their members who are at risk or redundancy or just need some career advice.

The types of services we can offer include:-

- Market overview - dynamics of the market / types of roles / different law firm cultures

- Interview training
- Psychometric testing (using the RPQ system)
- Salary and benefits (backed by a law firm only comprehensive survey we produce every year)
- General support and an honest assessment of a candidate's style and market suitability
